Jeanne C., a long-time donor and member of the Heritage Society, knows why The Seeing Eye needs to be here now, and for future generations. After learning by chance in her 30's that she was at high risk for angle-closure glaucoma, which could have led to sudden and permanent loss of sight, Jeanne knew she wanted to help those who are visually impaired. “Realizing I could immediately lose my vision changed my life forever. That’s why I choose to support The Seeing Eye and have included the organization in my estate plans.”
Jeanne wants to encourage others to do the same by offering our supporters a challenge. For each new bequest commitment, she will donate $500 to The Seeing Eye through December 31, 2024, up to $15,000. By including The Seeing Eye in your estate plans, or by letting us know if we are already in your estate plans if you haven’t already, you can support The Seeing Eye and help us in attaining Jeanne’s Bequest Challenge!
